Studio Sunday Medallion Master New Stencils and Free Giveaway September 9th

I'm getting a very late start this afternoon!  So much to do and so little time.  I'm reading videos for this week's release of my new Medallion Master Template stencils and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will be a big hit!  I have had a ton of fun creating medallions and of course scouring Pinterest for ideas on filling the designs, which has been a challenge for me.

So don't forget to check out my blog here for the release on Wednesday, September 9th along with a FREE GIVEAWAY!!!

I've seen signs of fall!  Little red tipped leaves on my commute down Rt. 128/95 in the mornings and that means that soon the highway will be flanked by beautiful autumn colors and hopefully cooler temperatures.  I can't complain this weekend as so far it has been beautiful and cooler especially at night.  Thinking about fall always makes me think of "Back to School" which I no longer have to participate in LOL but the whole clothes shopping bug hits me.  Fall clothes are always a favorite of mine as I've always been a girl of autumn, loving the crisp air and foliage.  Now, if I could only find the time to whip up a few shirts for underneath my suit jackets, I'd be a happy camper!

I've got some great knits that I want to get sewn as long sleeve tops for under my black and grey jackets which makes it really easy to not spend time thinking about what to wear at 6:30 in the morning.  Joann Fabrics is currently having a 40% off sale on their knits so check them out!

I'm getting ready to do some stenciling and collage onto heavy duty manila file folders from Staples as I saw some great ones that Barbara at Joggles.com had made.  I've layered gesso and then some Tim Holtz Distress Paints randomly over the dry gesso and I'm just determining which designs and how much I want to use on them.  There might even be some medallions in the mix!

One of my favorite colors is Hickory Smoke which is a grey taupe and looks kind of like mushroom.  I love it as a neutral and want to mix that up with white and black on something.  I paired this with Stormy Sky, Dusty Concord and Crushed Olive.

Abandoned Coral is also one of my favorite colors from that line and you can see how it pops in between the mix of Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade and Crushed Olive.

So many choices!!!!  I'm definitely taking advantage of this long weekend to get things done.  We are moving into a busy time at work and I'll be mentally exhausted when I get home from work so I have to maximize my weekends!!

Don't forget to check back on Wednesday and I hope you have a wonderful long and creative weekend!

Those knits would make great tops!
I think the medallions will be very popular especially with the mandala and colouring craze going on. There's so much you can do with them!
It must be exciting!
