Studio Sunday

Wow, it's still Sunday, right?  I'm so late posting today because I have been painting, printing, and stamping for the past 10 hours.  I've been working on a semi successful project and I still can't get the paint off my hands and cuticles, not to mention my arms.  A couple things about today, I re-discovered my brayer and I love working on 18" x 24" watercolor paper!

Here are a couple of pics so you can see what I'm talking about.

I'm having FUN with my fun foam stamps and looking at things vertically.  I see this going in somewhat of a graffiti direction.  Next weekend...

Here are pictures of the outside of Western Avenue Studios and Western Avenue Lofts looking at both parts of the building.  The first picture is looking directly at the Studios.

The picture below shows the lofts on the right side and I drew an arrow where I am!  My little circular window looks out directly at the Western Avenue Studios sign.  One of the things I love about my unit  is that I don't sit directly above or beside any other unit.  It looks smaller than the rest from here but it is quite a space!!!

My sister and her family stopped by yesterday to check out the new digs and my super-handy brother-in-law helped me hang this really big metal shelf above the kitchen sink.  I didn't get around to adding the glassware to the top shelf but it will get done eventually LOL

And here we are again, back to the eve of the work week :(  The studio is looking a little neater as I moved some tables around and positioned all my little rolling drawers to the window wall.  I am getting there, slowly but surely!

I hope everyone has a great week and stay creative!!!

I wish you had a tree or two for some dappled effects on your studio. I'm all about ambiance, don't ya know! Nice rack! I'm sure you'll be moving stuff around lots. I definitely can see value in working large.
I want to come visit! LOL beautiful art. Margi - I just bought your DVD! {40% off} Yay! YOU ARE SO GOOD IN IT, and I love your ideas, and your art. Perfectly done.
